Carl A Bailey
Secretary Treasurer
Carl A. Bailey began serving as Secretary-Treasurer/Principal Officer of Teamsters Local Union 205 on January 1, 2012, when he was elected by the membership. Carl is a dedicated Teamster leader and retired McKeesport police detective who was instrumental in the formation of the Teamsters Legal Defense Fund which he now serves as Chairman and was a key figure in the Teamster Law Enforcement League. Carl is the President of Teamsters Joint Council #40. He currently serves as Trustee of Teamsters Local 205 Health and Welfare Fund. He is also Trustee for the Western Pennsylvania Teamsters Pension Fund.
Carl was appointed by General President Hoffa as an International Representative of the Public Service Division in July 2014. He was elected Secretary-Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Conference of Teamsters in 2020. He also serves as Western Region Political Coordinator for the Pennsylvania Conference of Teamsters. Carl has always believed the Union is needed to insure the right of every worker and will continue to serve and protect our membership.
