Joseph Barbano has been a member of the Teamsters for over 35 years.  Joe started his career at Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in 1985.  He became Recording Secretary for Teamsters Local 211 in 1994.  Joe continued to serve as Recording Secretary for another 10 years before becoming Secretary-Treasurer of Local 211.    He remained Secretary-Treasurer for 16 years.

Joe started as a business agent of Local 205 in January 2020.  He is currently the Executive Assistant to the President for Joint Council 40.  Joe also serves as Recording Secretary on the Executive Board for the Newspaper Division Conference.
